day 39

Went to school today. As normal :)
nothing too exciting happened today, other than going for pizza!
I am starting to notice my english starting to fail. My teachers will ask me a word or what is more commonly used in english, and half the time I can't even think of the english words. The simple words, like the ones i write here, arent complicated. but its when i get in my environmental english class that i struggle. today, i couldn't explain to someone what indiginous meant..... how sad is that?
On another note, the finnish sounds are starting to take over my brain. when i see a y, usually i would pronounce it like english people do. ie. nope...

Take the word 'usually' for example. English people say 'usually'. Finnish people say 'usualluu' technically if they are pronouncing it like that. I dont really know how to explain it, but sometimes when I see english words, the Finnish pronunciation (? is that spelt right because it seriously doesnt look like it.....) comes to my head.

I found this picture. it makes me feel extremely bad for people who are trying to learn english. I'm glad finnish makes sense....
