Today was much better than yesterday. Geography still sucked because I didn't know what was going on, but my class tried to speak more English to me. My 2nd class was English 7 (the most advanced English in the school). I was really shocked by the huge words that people are required to know that I didn't even know until a few years ago (genocide, apartheid). And then there was a word I didn't even know (and cant remember what it is right now, thats how confusing it was.) After lunch, I was supposed to have gym, but I changed it to another english class, because the first english class I had was helping me to learn Finnish. And then I had art. After school, we went to Hesberger for supper and then I met Roosa at the beach. We were going to go swimming before I helped her with her application for youth exchange. When I got to the beach, Roosa didn't even have her bathing suit. So I waited at the beach while she went home and got it. The first friend I made in Siilinjarvi, Sami, was at the beach too, so I played football with him until Roosa got back. (My arms still sore, but yes dad- I still remember how to throw a spiral!!!!) Then the three of us swam together for like an hour. (I will sleep well tonight.) After the beach, Roosa and I drove back to my house on her moped. I have never been on one and it was really cool. Did I mention that a bunch of people here ride mopeds or dirtbikes !? Or they ride bikes. I am one of few people that walk to school. Ill have to make sure to take a picture of all the bikes some day. Anyways, we just wrote Roosa's letter and then I went to bed. :) Thats all.
But school was MUCH better than my first day :)
